Muggles: A muggle in Geocaching is the name used to define an ordinary member of the public. Geocaching muggles are people who don’t know what geocaches are and don’t understand the rules or even the basics of the game. Muggles don't (yet) understand the magic of geocaching, and therefore often take or disgard a geocache they accidently find...thus removing the cache from the field of play. Thank you JK Rowling for the perfect metaphore for this real world phenamenon.
Geocachers vs Muggles. Geocachers and muggles have been at odds since the beginning. Geocache hiders have often gone to great lengths to combat the muggle with countless variations on hide styles: hidden in plain sight, insanely difficult and/or small cache containers, bushwhacking deterents, and remote locations. You name it....cache owners have tried it.
Sometimes a cache seeker must use their creativity when searching for a cache as to not look suspicious of those darned nearby muggles. This cache is located in a high muggle area -- of course -- so use your best stealth. You got this!!! (and hopefully the muggles won't). Good luck.
