This is a small container hid in an area that at times can be very busy. Please do not block any roads or go past the fence. The cache requires a very short but steep hike. It would be difficult to access or find if snow is on the ground, but it is possible.
This gravel pit is called Cinch Hook. At one time it was a snow play area but was closed due to safety concerns. As a paramedic workiing "back in the old days" out of Payson, I responded here many times to transport patients, sometimes with serious injuries. I recall a patient with a broken neck and another with a lumbar spine injury. Also a couple of head injuries and some broken bones. People had a tendency to continue sledding here even after most of the snow was melted - bad idea!
The container is big enough for small TBs or trade items. $1,00 for FTF.
Please rehide the container at least as well as you find it, watch for muggleers, and be careful climbing the little hill that you will find here.
Best time to look for it is on weekends. Use your own judgment and be careful!
