Welcome to Tavares Nature Park! Trailmaster Buc's favorite local hiking spot. Lots of trails, some with water hazards. There is only one trailhead with off road parking and restrooms. There is a boardwalk to a dock on Lake Dora but it has some damage from a past hurricane. Hope they fix it soon cause it's the best place to see the sunrise in Tavares.
This one is for the kiddos! You seek a camouflaged plastic jar full of dinosaurs. Nice little hike from the parking lot. Located close to the trail so no bushwhacking. Well, maybe one bush.
