Geocache Description:

mailmailmailYou will need to follow some directions to find the snowflake.mailmailmail

Florida isn't known for snow.  In fact that is why many live here.  But for the young at heart the snow can be a magical time.  As it fluters from the sky towards you it is part of the fun to try to catch one on your tongue or even in your mittened hand.

After parking at the designated coordinates you will be following the sidewalk.  You will only cross the road once at the safety of the cross walk.  Please make sure that you look in all directions before proceeding across the road. The entire path should be less than 1/2 mile round trip.

Florida isn't known for snow.  In fact that is why many live here.  But for the young at heart the snow can be a magical time.  As it flutters from the sky towards you it is part of the fun to try to catch one on your tongue or even in your mitten hand.

Let's head to see if we can find a snowflake in a holiday spirit. Starting at the posted coordinates you will walk in a northerly direction until you see an escape from the confines of the lot. As you glance towards the sky you see a tall silver pole with a green sign on it, and a stop light changing from a bright red to green but you still don't see any snowflakes.  You approach the tall pole and see there is a button to push on a shorter silver pole, to aid you in walking to the westerly at 225. Watch the sign across the street carefully and ONLY cross when it is safe to do so, following the sign and your own observation.

You notice that there are eleven white lines as you cross but no red ones to make it look like a candy cane. Once across the street you can skip with happiness and joy.  You will stay on the path that has been created for walking.  After passing by three very tall silver poles you will fill with magic and anticipation.  You notice there is a curve in the path, as you pass pole number 3, you are on the correct path.  Next you will pass by a sign on your right, but you cannot read it. As you walk another 20 feet beyond the mystery sign you stop and turn around. If the sign is green and brown with 3 arrows pointing southerly, you are at the right spot.  Follow the metal curved object near the ground, but only with your eyes, as it comes around to you and only 10 feet from the edge of the sidewalk you will find your prize.

Please do not take the stamp it is NOT swag.  It must stay with the cache container. Please remember to bring your stamp or a pen to log your find. And please don't put the stamp on your tongue.
