Wily forest geocaches are losing their natural habitat and are searching for new territories in which to live. Some have been seen around human habitation, causing some minor concerns. Some have been noticed crossing busy roads, although none have apparently been hit by traffic yet. Others seem to be hiding in odd places waiting for a chance to find new more remote habitats.
Traps are being set to humanely "trap and release" some of these. If you are successful, using the equipment provided, please let the DOGS (Dept. of Geocache Safety) know by posting your message on this page.
Be safe, have fun, and please respect the ever-shrinking wild geocache population.
