4X Hidden MM/DD Challenge Olio #31 Mystery Cache

Background

Welcome to my series of odd and miscellaneous challenges.

It's not very often when Leap Day (February 29^th) can be included in a challenge; this just happens to be one of them. We discovered that there is more flexibility with challenges based on hidden dates vs. found dates.

With Leap Day included in this challenge, it only seemed fitting this cache should be published on February 29^th as well. Taking some creative license even further, this challenge also fits with this year's Leap Day souvenir theme. To earn that souvenir, cachers must find 4 caches on February 29^th, 2024. The 4's theme was even been applied to this cache's GC code.

The Challenge

To qualify for this challenge, you must have found at least 4 caches that were hidden on every single calendar date (MM/DD) of the year, including February 29^th for a total of 366 days.

The Requirements

Some more things about the challenge to be aware of:

• All cache types except adventure lab caches and benchmarks can be used for this challenge.
• Only the placed day and month matter for this challenge. The year is irrelevant.
• Again, Leap Day aka February 29^th is required for this challenge.
• When the caches are found is irrelevant for this challenge. There are no date/time restrictions or any required order for these caches to be found in.
• In the past, it was also possible to log the same cache multiple times. Those caches can only be used once for this challenge.
• Past finds count. Any cache that you have found and have been archived or disabled after you have found them can be used for this challenge if it meets the criteria.

The fine print

CO reserves the right to make any changes to this challenge if any issues or ambiguities are discovered. CO will be fair but has the final say on any events, caches, finds, or logs that are questionable. CO reserves the right to delete any logs if problems are found.

Finding This Cache

Do NOT access this cache from Highway 2. Please use the nearby service road instead.

Due to the recent road changes, some maps may be out of date. Vehicle access to this cache from the north no longer exists and Ground Zero can only be approached from the south. Please note that at the south access point, there is a warning sign that indicates the road is closed, local access only. The road is still open. The sign is only there because it is now a dead end road.

Please remember to be respectful of the cache location. Be aware of how and where the cache is "attached" so that it can be put back in exactly the same way and in the same place for the next person(s) to enjoy.

Logging This Cache

As with any challenge caches, you are welcome to physically sign the log for this cache and log it as "Write Note" if you haven't met the challenge's requirements yet. Please bring your own pen(cil)/writing instrument to sign the log.
