Welcome to Tavares Nature Park! Excellent park for walking your dog and apparently for geocaching. I had to squeeze this one in because we needed a little water adventure. Ha! Not really.
You seek a swamp chicken with an egg inside which contains a log. Located not far off trail. You can actually see it from the trail if you know where to look. That said.. This is lowlands and prone to flooding. Depending on the time of year you may get your feet wet. Come prepared. Trails are well maintained but still get flooded at times. There is off road parking with restrooms available.
