LEAP DAY 2024 - Thursday, February 29, 2024 from Midnight to Midnight!
(I know it says we have to stop at 11:45pm, but that's the latest time I was allowed to pick. Just know we're rockin' all the way up until Midnight!)

If you're anything like us, you like to celebrate every weird and wonderful day that comes along. We celebrate Leap Day by caching!
We started geocaching 6 months too late to celebrate Leap Day 2012. So when the next one rolled around, we had a plan.
In 2016 we found 82 caches in one day. In 2020 we found 11 different cache types in one day.
On Leap Day 2024 we're hosting a 24-hour long event... at our house! (If you attended GCAB200, then you know we know how to have a good time!)
You're welcome to come and stay the whole time, or just stop in along your adventures to recharge your phone, use the restroom, grab a snack (or a meal), and just relax for a bit. If you need a shower or a nap, we can accommodate that, too!
I can't remember the last time I went to, or hosted, an event where everyone left exactly when the event was over. I also can't count the number of events I've had to miss because of the rest of my schedule that day. This time, just show up whenever you can. Stay as long, or as little, as you like. If the driveway is full, park in the yard! (Seriously, we don't care at all about our grass LOL!!)
We'll have games, movies, music, food, beverages, good toilet paper, and great conversation.
This event will occur inside our home. You will have access to a restroom. Drinks and snacks will be provided, and you are welcome to bring your own refreshments if you choose. You don't have to come inside if you aren't comfortable, we'll be happy to chat with you on the porch if you're more comfortable with that.
- Allergy Disclosure: We have three cats. They will be secured during the event, but their fur and dander may linger.
- Video surveillance warning: This event location and/or the surrounding area may be under video surveillance. As the cache owner, I represent any such device is being operated in adherence with applicable laws. If you have concerns regarding privacy, please do not attend this event. Images from these cameras will not be publicly shared without your permission.
The neighbors know we do weird stuff, like host geocaching events at our house.
If it's before sunrise or after sunset, just be courteous and don't shout in the yard.
