Come and join me for a Cronan Holiday at Cronan Ranch!!

It was the third Sunday of January (21st) in 2007, 15 years ago, that a group of Geocachers gathered in the Cronan Ranch parking lot to go hide some caches. After meeting up in the lot we headed out to different parts of the park to find places to hide with a plan to meet up at the Movie set (Which still had a fake barn, chicken coop and well.) for lunch. When lunch was done, we exchanged coordinates and headed out to beta test each other's hides. We add 17 new caches to the 20 caches that already existed and nearly doubled the number of caches in the park to 37.
This year we will meet up at the Movie set ("Love Comes Softly" (2003)) Share some food, talk some story and enjoy each other’s company. At 12:00pm we can go up to "Church" (GC1QKWG) and pay our respects to the H-ville Piker.
After that we can disperse for some geocaching since there are caches old and new that will be calling for you to find!
Ground zero for this event is about 1.25 miles from the closest parking lot (see posted coordinates). It is an easy hike on the ranch road (I think it is a good enough road that a wheelchair or stroller can navigate it).
This is a rain or shine event.
If it might rain bring the appropriate rain gear to keep yourself dry, warm and happy.
Bring some snacks to share as well as food and drinks for yourself. Don't forget your TOTT.
