Parking at top of the hill exists but is limited. Trail is an abandoned paved road DOWN to almost river level. You have to come UP. All hides are on side of trail away from active train tracks. You do not need to go near the train tracks.

You are searching for a small container behind a rock. It's not up the embankment. In winter, it's pretty easy to get to. In summer, I'd wonder about the possibility of snakes. Please make sure there's an obscuring rock in front of it before you leave.
