Caspar David Friedrich (* 5. September 1774 in Greifswald, † 7. Mai 1840 in Dresden) war ein deutscher Maler, Grafiker und Zeichner. Er gilt heute als einer der bedeutendsten Künstler der deutschen Frühromantik.
Anlässlich des 250. Geburtstags von Caspar David Friedrich hat der australische Fassadenkünstler Fintan Magee in der Nähe des Finals eine knapp 200 m2 große Neuinterpretation des berühmten Gemäldes »Wanderer über dem Nebelmeer« (um 1817) geschaffen.

On the occasion of the 250th birthday of Caspar David Friedrich, the Australian facade artist Fintan Magee has created an almost 200 m2 large reinterpretation of the famous painting »Wanderer above Sea of Fog« (around 1817).
