Geocache Description:

The geocache is not at the posted coordinates but is within 3 km.

To locate the final, you must visit four waypoints: A, B, C and D (with A being the posted coordinates). The B, C and D waypoints are in the waypoints section on the cache page.

At each waypoint you need to gather information which you will then use to complete a set of coordinates. When you have completed all four stages you will then have four sets of coordinates which, when viewed on a map, will roughly form a square (you dont need to travel to these new waypoints. They are just needed for the final calculation).

Now if you can imagine a line on a map from waypoint A to D and from waypoint B to C (see my diagram below), the lines will all intersect at a certain point.

Where the lines intersect is where you will find the final geocache location!!

From start to finish this multi shouldn't take more than an hour. There is a checksum for each stage and the Certitude Checker for the final so you can check your work as you move along.

STAGE A (Posted Coordinates)

You will see a sign at this stage

N49 AB. CDE W122 FG.HIJ

A= Left hand side of the sign, near the bottom is a brown box with trail information. What is the distance of the Blue Heron Loop?

B= Left hand side of the sign, near the bottom is a brown box with trail information. Time to Return column – first number in the Osprey Loop

C= Below the brown trail info box. There are two phone numbers. Sixth number in the bottom phone number

D= In the green column near the middle of the sign. How many attributes are there for “Shared Dyke?”

E= Right hand side of the sign. The underpass below the CPR bridge was built in _____. Add up all the digits in the year.

F= Below the brown trail info box. There are two phone numbers. Third number in the lower phone number.

G= Left hand side of the sign, near the bottom is a brown box with trail information. Take the time to return for the Harris Landing Loop Trail and X4.

H= The blue legend on the map shows a bunch of attributes. The very first one: Information Kiosk, how many attributes are there for this one?

I= On the right hand side of the map is a picture of a bird. What kind of bird is this? One word – count the letters.

J= = In the green column near the middle of the sign, near the bottom. How many attributes have a red slash through them?

Checksum = 34

STAGE B (Waypoints Section of Cache Page)

You are looking for a man-made circular metal plate on the ground. On this plate you will see 6 numbers engraved into it. For the sake of the multi we’ll assume two of the six numbers are the number nine (not the number six).

N49 AB. CDE W122 FG.HIJ

A= The fourth number

B= Third number plus one

C= Sixth number

D= Second number minus one

E= First number

F= Fourth number + Second number minus six

G= Fourth number X2

H= The number 2 (number 2 not the 2nd number) minus the fourth number

I= The number 2 (number 2 not the 2nd number) minus the first number

J= The second number plus the sixth number minus ten

Checksum = 36

STAGE C (Waypoints Section of Cache Page)

You are looking for a sign (larger sign with four smaller signs below it) on a post.

N49 AB. CDE W122 FG.HIJ

A= How many dogs are depicted?

B= The legend on the map – How may attributes are there for “Greenway Trail No Horses?”

C= The distances near the bottom of the main sign- First number for Ford Landing minus one

D= The first small sign right below the main sign. Last word – count the letters.

E= The distances below the main sign. Second number for Ford Landing.

F= On the main map. There is a rectangular yellow box at the bottom. Number of letters in the first word?

G= The distances below the main map. The distance for Ferry Slip Landing minus one

H= The lowest, white sign. First word – number of letters?

I= The second small sign down from the main sign. First word – number of letters?

J= The legend on the map – How may attributes are there for Waste Bin?

Checksum = 43

STAGE D (Waypoints Section of Cache Page)

You are looking for a bench with a plaque

N49 AB. CDE W122 FG.HIJ

A= How many hearts are on the plaque?

B= Fifth word, second letter – convert this to a number?

C= Fourth word – count the letters and add two

D= Seventh word – count the letters.

E= The person to whom this plaque is about. The number of letters in the name?

F= Very first word – number of letters?

G= Third word, second letter – convert this letter to a number.

H= Very last word on the plaque plus two

I= Sixth word – count the letters

J= Seventh word, fourth letter – convert this letter to a number.

Checksum = 44

FINAL CACHE LOCATION

Now you should have four sets of coordinates. Imagine a line on a map from waypoint A to D and from waypoint B to C (see my diagram), these lines will all intersect at a certain point.

Where the lines intersect is where you will find the final geocache location!!

Good luck. You can check your final answer and receive the hint in the Certitude Checker.

Congratulations to Adroit Seeker for FTF!!
