Geocache Description:

KarenLiz's 50th Birthday Extravaganza!

I'm officially half way to 100!

In honor of that accomplishment, I have placed 50 (mostly) winter friendly caches, for a little bit of mid-winter enjoyment.

Feb. 7, 1978

Among other noteable events that happened in New England this day, was my 4th birthday. My mother had planned a wonderful party for me, but it was all for naught. For those of you who were alive then and lived in the North East, you might remember this day as the last day of "The Blizzard of '78"

Need less to say, my friends couldn't make it but I was especially crushed that my favorite cousin, who lived an hour away, wouldn't be coming. My parents ended up saving the day, they invited the neighbors  over and it turned into a memorable neighborood party.
