Once again I would like to invite local cachers and visitors to join me for breakfast at the Bransty Arch on New Year’s Eve for all the usual chat and trackable stuff. I’ll aim for somewhere on the top right facing away from the bar but will endeavour to post a table number on arrival.
The event will be from 09:30 to 10:30 but any geocachers participating in this year’s New Year's Eve Charity Dip are welcome to join us early on and will be encouraged later – nutters! Looking forward to catching up with old friends and making new ones. Hopefully, thanks to Moacky, there may be a new set of ALs published on/before the day.
Parking: now that the former Copeland Borough Council’s car parks come under Cumberland Council there is no free option in them this year. Nevertheless ‘every little helps’ for 2 hours opposite the pub although but check for out of hours restrictions and, being Sunday, a number of local restrictions nearby don’t apply. Just be aware that the Harbour Commissioners’ car park attendants are extremely vigilant but dippers will get to park for free in a couple of places.
