Kill Creek Park is a Johnson County Parks & Recreation District park located in western Johnson County between De Soto and Olathe. This cache is to welcome you and get you started on the load of caches in the park. It is located near the entrance, off Homestead Lane.
To get to the park, get off of Kansas Highway 10 at the Kill Creek exit and proceed south to 115th Street. Turn right and go to Homestead Lane. Take a left onto Homestead and the park entrance is on the right near the crest of the first hill.
Park hours are 5am to 11pm for March through October and 7:30am to 8pm for November through February. However, this cache is actually located outside the gates.
This cache is a very small painted round L&L container. Room only for very small trackables and tradeables.
