This is one of 6 caches along the North Orange County mini trail. Bluesnote has a 28-cache Cities of Orange County power trail in South County, but due to space constraints on that bike trail it is missing 6 cities from North Orange County. Well, now those cities have a trail of their own! These caches are located along a section of the Santiago Creek Bike Trail adjacent to the Santiago Creek Recharge Basins between Villa Park and El Modena. There is short-term parking at the north end of the series and neighborhood parking at the south end, but parking is not available at each cache. Plan on walking/cycling/skating/scootering to each cache; total distance is about 3/4 miles. The trail is popular with pedestrians and cyclists after work and on weekends, so be aware of approaching muggles as you move from cache to cache.
