When I taught first grade, my students' favorite song was, "Count on Me," by Bruno Mars. They would beg to listen to it again and again. The chorus includes, "You can count on me like one, two, three. I'll be there." I thought this would be the perfect day to be named, "Count on Me Day,"12.31.23. Over the years, I've learned I can count on many cachers who I now call friends.
Come meet at The Barn to wrap up the year and talk with old friends and new. We can celebrate the other 12:00 o'clock (noon) together. I'll arrive early to try to secure seating inside, but dress ready to be outside, under the heated covered seating just in case. The Barn has many delicious food and beverage choices that you are welcome to purchase or just come for the geotalk. I'll have a raffle, about noon, for those who can make it. Hope to see you there!
