This structure was erected in the time of the second world war. It has a large siren on top with the intention of warning residents of a possible attack or emergency. There are a couple of these in the Moot area. The structure was luckily never used for its intended purpose! Through the years it became abandoned and it was occupied by vagrants and looked terrible. Recently it was restored and repaired by the Moot community to what it is today. It was renovated and converted to the "lockhouse" which it is today. You will agree that it is now a beautifull beacon in the Moot!

There is a bridge that gives you access from the street. Ample parking is available.
