Geocache Description:


Online "found it" logs that do not have a corresponding name on the physical logbook will be deleted.


Since there are no longer any *actual* webcam caches left in Nebraska, & they are no longer being published, we decided to make another un-webcam. That's right, this is NOT a webcam cache, but there are 2 (yes, 2!) webcams nearby (see "reference" waypoints for details). The building on the northeast corner of the intersection holds both cameras but on different corners. It is also host to a big, beautiful light-up tree around Christmastime! The cams & the cache are all accessible from the public sidewalks along the 2 main roads. Both are paved, but someone in a wheelchair might not be able to physically grab the cache due to its non-ADA compliant position.

This is a standard, traditional cache.
1) You can simply sign the log & leave just like any other *mundane* cache (yawn!)...

OR...

2) You can have a little fun before you go!!! (see below)

Note: the following activity is optional & is NOT required to log a find.

If you'd like to make this a much more interesting find, there are 2 webcams pointing at this corner of 90th & Dodge: a City Cam & a Skycam. The parking for the City Cam is east, Skycam is west. Both are about the same distance from the cache, & we accomplished getting our photos on both easily in the same 20 minute window.

To access the cams & post your photo(s): click on the links below online using your mobile browser or wifi-enabled tablet/laptop. If you have trouble accessing the cams, try different browsers or borrow a friend who has a laptop at home.

Take a snapshot of yourself from one or both of the webcams & post your screenshot(s) with your log. You can wave, carry a flag, pose, point to the camera, give a thumbs up, put your hat in front of your face, stand on your car, get creative! If the camera is down (it will likely happen sometimes), you are welcome to post a selfie or photo of your shoe at GZ if you'd like. If you're there at night, feel free to grab a good flashlight & use that to point at the cam or light yourselves up. Because this is NOT a real webcam, pretty much whatever photo you want to post of yourself in the vicinity works, just keep it family-friendly, OR you may *completely ignore either/both of the webcams* & still log your smiley (but be sure to SIGN THE LOG!).
