Con este evento en la UPV Celebramos el 12º Aniversario (3º si cuentas solo los bisiestos) del primer evento de Geocaching en Valencia: 29 Febrero Valencia

¿QUÉ ES EL "LEAP DAY"?

Celebramos el Leap Day el 29 de febrero, un día que solo aparece en el calendario cada cuatro años. ¿Por qué? porque la Tierra tarda aproximadamente 365.25 días en dar una vuelta completa alrededor del sol. Para mantener nuestro calendario en sincronía con esto, añadimos un día más a febrero cada 4 años, y eso se llama "Leap Day" o "Día Bisiesto". Es como un día especial que ayuda a que nuestros calendarios sigan siendo correctos. ¡Como un pequeño salto en el tiempo!

SOBRE EL EVENTO

Si no conoces la actividad de Geocaching, no te lo debes perder. Te informaremos del proyecto Geocaching UPV puesto en marcha en 2022 y que convierte a la UPV en el primer Campus Universitario totalmente abierto al Geocaching con talleres, cachés oficiales de calidad y una pionera Escuela de Geocaching para aquellos que no conozcan la actividad y quieran a su vez conocer el campus.

Si conoces la actividad, charlaremos de Geocaching, de los cachés que puedes encontrar en el campus, compartiremos experiencias y te pondremos al día sobre todo lo que acontecerá en el mundo geocachero, como por ejemplo los próximos eventos: incluido el evento 29 de febrero (Edición cero) y el espectacular MEGA GeocoinFest Europe 2024 en Alicante.

Podremos tomar algo en las coordenadas. Cada uno es responsable de su propio festín según permita su apetito/economía, siguiendo la practica habitual de Pedir, Pagar y Consumir (repitiéndolo tantas veces como quieras).

Contaremos con la asistencia de Salmoon, Revisor Voluntario de la Comunidad de Geocaching.com. Si tienes alguna duda sobre normativa o alguna pregunta que no te deja dormir, es tu oportunidad. Verás que los revisores no muerden y están siempre dispuestos a solucionar tus dudas.

El 29 de febrero es un día muy especial en la sede de Geocaching HQ así que si vienes a un evento o encuentras un geocaché ese día, ¡te darán un souvenir especial conmemorativo!
¿Qué es un Souvenir? Es como un recuerdo visual virtual que puedes mostrar en tu perfil de Geocaching.com para recordar ese día. ¡Ven y descubre más sobre esto en persona, te lo explicaremos con detalle!

¡Nos vemos el 29 de febrero para celebrar juntos la rareza de este día que solo aparece cuando el calendario decide ser un poco más aventurero!

Aconsejamos hagáis un “Asistiré” en el evento para estar informados de cualquier cambio o nota informativa relativa al evento.

QUÈ ÉS EL "LEAP DAY"?

Celebrem el Leap Day el 29 de febrer, un dia que només apareix en el calendari cada quatre anys. Per què? Perquè la Terra triga aproximadament 365,25 dies a donar una volta completa al voltant del sol. Per mantenir el nostre calendari en sincronia amb això, afegim un dia més a febrer cada 4 anys, i això es diu "Leap Day" o "Dia Bisiest". És com un dia especial que ajuda a que els nostres calendaris segueixin sent correctes. Com un petit salt en el temps!

SOBRE L'ESDEVENIMENT

Si no coneixes l'activitat de Geocaching, no te'l pots perdre. T'informarem del projecte Geocaching UPV posat en marxa en 2022 i que converteix la UPV en el primer Campus Universitari totalment obert al Geocaching amb tallers, geocontenidors oficials de qualitat i una pionera Escola de Geocaching per a aquells que no coneguen l'activitat i vulguen a la vegada conèixer el campus.

Si coneixes l'activitat, xarrarem de Geocaching, dels geocaches que pots trobar al campus, compartirem experiències i et posarem al dia sobre tot el que succeirà en el món geocachero, com ara els pròxims esdeveniments: inclòs l'esdeveniment 29 de febrer (Edició zero) i l'espectacular MEGA GeocoinFest Europe 2024 a Alacant.

Podrem prendre alguna cosa a les coordenades. Cadascú és responsable del seu propi festí segons permeti el seu apetit/economia, seguint la pràctica habitual de Pedir, Pagar i Consumir (repetint-ho tantes vegades com vulgues).

Comptarem amb l'assistència de Salmoon, Revisor Voluntari de la Comunitat de Geocaching.com. Si tens algun dubte sobre normativa o alguna pregunta que no et deixe dormir, és la teua oportunitat. Veuràs que els revisors no mosseguen i estan sempre disposats a solucionar els teus dubtes.

El 29 de febrer és un dia molt especial en la seu de Geocaching HQ així que si vens a un esdeveniment o trobes un geocaché eixe dia, et donaran un souvenir especial commemoratiu!
Què és un Souvenir? És com un record visual virtual que pots mostrar en el teu perfil de Geocaching.com per a recordar eixe dia. Vine i descobreix-ne més sobre açò en persona, t'ho explicarem amb detall!

Nos vorem el 29 de febrer per a celebrar junts la raresa d'aquest dia que només apareix quan el calendari decideix ser una mica més aventurer!

Aconsellem que feu un “Asistiré” en l'esdeveniment per a estar informats de qualsevol canvi o nota informativa relativa a l'esdeveniment.

With this event at UPV, we celebrate the 12th Anniversary (3rd if you only count leap years) of the first Geocaching event in Valencia: 29 February Valencia

WHAT "LEAP DAY" IS?

We celebrate Leap Day on February 29, a day that only appears on the calendar every four years. Why? Because the Earth takes approximately 365.25 days to complete one orbit around the sun. To keep our calendar in sync with this, we add an extra day to February every 4 years, and that's called "Leap Day" or "Día Bisiesto". It's like a special day that helps keep our calendars accurate. Like a little jump in time!

ABOUT THE EVENT

If you're not familiar with Geocaching, you shouldn't miss it. We'll inform you about the Geocaching UPV project launched in 2022, which turns UPV into the first Geocaching-friendly university campus with workshops, high-quality official caches, and a pioneering Geocaching School for those who are new to the activity and want to explore the campus.

If you know about the activity, we'll talk about Geocaching, the caches you can find on campus, share experiences, and keep you updated on everything happening in the Geocaching world, including upcoming events: including the 29 February (Edition zero) event and the spectacular MEGA GeocoinFest Europe 2024 in Alicante.

We can grab something to eat at the coordinates. Everyone is responsible for their own feast according to their appetite/economy, following the usual practice of Ask, Pay, and Consume (repeat as many times as you like).

We'll have the assistance of Salmoon, Volunteer Reviewer from the Geocaching.com Community. If you have any doubts about the rules or any questions that keep you up at night, this is your opportunity. You'll see that reviewers don't bite and are always ready to help with your doubts.

February 29 is a very special day at the Geocaching HQ headquarters, so if you come to an event or find a geocache on that day, you'll receive a special commemorative souvenir!
What is a Souvenir? It's like a virtual visual keepsake that you can display on your Geocaching.com profile to remember that day. Come and learn more about this in person; we'll explain it in detail!
