This is another scented geocache. Barney needed to place two in order to earn his Dog Scout Geoscenting badge. The cache is a a typical cache with the exception of a bit of clove oil added so if your dog is into scent work, he can help you find it. Clove oil is used because it does not attract wild animals.
The cache is located in Brinkop Park in Shrewsbury. It is a small neighborhood park but it has a playground, a basketball court, a pavillion with picnic tables and a grill. There is a paved walking path in the park. Restrooms are available but they are closed during the winter months. Park is open from sunrise to 10:00 at night.
The cache should not be difficult to find but I have rated it a "2" because of the potential muggle problem. Since it is in a neighborhood, you need to be aware that people may be in the surrounding yards in nice weather.
