Silver Argiope are relatively harmless to human beings. If thoroughly and intentionally provoked, these spiders might bite out of self defense. Their venom is not toxic to humans and rarely causes any sort of adverse reactions. In fact, the bites of Silver Argiope are relatively comparable to a bee sting, with only minor redness and occasional swelling resulting.
With that in mind.. You seek a Silver Argiope hidden along a well maintained nature trail in Tavares Nature Park. This cache is located at the back of the park and the hike is approximately one mile round trip, depending on the route you choose. Trails will be wet at times so come prepared.
Good luck and happy hunting!
