Geocache Description:

OTP - Getting Ready for the Return

Series Information

The "On The Point" series is a mini series at the Woodman Point Recreation Reserve and follows one of the rock walls. Please allow approximately 30 minutes to complete the series. The walking distance from the carpark to the end of the rock wall is 1.7km.

Please take care when finding the caches, as the area is busy with fisherman.

Instructions

The cache is not located at the posted coordinates. The posted coordinates will lead you to a mural painted across multiple walls.

To obtain the coordinates for the final cache you will need to locate the plaque and subsitute information found on the plaque as per the below. You will then need to substitute this information into the coordinates provided to locate the cache.

1. Locate the plaque

Climb up onto the rocks at the very end of the rock wall (hence the terrain rating). You will find a plaque dedicated to "Grubby".

Grubby was born on AB.CD.EFGH and passed away on JK.LM.NPQR.

2. Complete the equations below

U = K + J
V = B - E - C
W = Q + R - M + N
X = H
Y = G - H + Q
Z = F - A - B

The final cache is located at S32 08.UVW E115 45.XYZ

You can confirm your answer is correct here.
