Waldo woke up one morning and decided he wasn’t too crazy about wearing striped shirts anymore because people always seemed too be pointing him out. So he packed his bags, leaving the stripes behind, and set off to see the world. He decided his first stop would be one of the smallest countries in the world. He left home in freezing temperatures and arrived to a much more pleasant temperature. Waldo joined a bus tour so that he could learn more about this country. The tour guide pointed out that most of the landscape is agricultural and that the farms mostly grow wheat, grapes and barley. Waldo learned that quarrying from long ago eventually depleted all the minerals, so the country now lacks any mineral resources. The bus continued on towards the capital city which is set high in the hills. It’s an old city with walls and a fortress. All the people got off the bus to explore the city and have some lunch. Waldo decided to do some geocaching before getting back on the bus. He found the country’s first virtual and all he had to do is take a picture of himself with the fortress in the background. Then he found another cache near a place he could climb up the wall and look down on the valley. He found a few more caches, but then had to run to catch the bus before it left.
