Der Murturm ist eine Aussischtswarte in der Ortschaft Gosdorf der Stadtgemeinde Mureck. Der 27,5 Meter hohe Turm befindet sich direkt am Ufer der Mur an der Mündung des Saßbachs. In der warmen Jahreszeit ist es möglich, die 168 Stufen zur Spitze des Turms zu erklimmen, um einen wunderbaren Rundlick über die Südsteiermark und das angrenzende Slowenien zu erhalten. Um den Cache zu finden ist esjedoch nicht nötig, den Turm zu besteigen.
Wenn ihr mit eurem Cachemobil unterwegs seid, parkt bitte an einem der vorgegebenen Parkplätze, rund um den Turm gilt nämlich ein Fahrverbot für Kraftfahrzeuge. Mit dem Fahhrad ist es möglich, direkt bis zur Location zu gelangen. Beim Öffnen des Caches bitte vorsichtig vorgehen, um der Dose ein möglichst langes Leben zu bescheren. Vielen Dank.
The Murturm is an observation tower in the village of Gosdorf, part of the municipal area of Mureck. The 27.5-meter-high tower is located directly on the banks of the Mur River at the confluence of the Saßbach. During the warm season, it is possible to climb the 168 steps to the top of the tower to enjoy a wonderful panoramic view of Southern Styria and the adjacent Slovenia. However, this isn't necessary to find the cache.
If you are in your car, please park at one of the designated parking areas, as there is a prohibition on motor vehicles around the tower. It is possible to reach the location directly by bicycle. When opening the cache, please handle with care to ensure the container has the longest possible lifespan. Thank you.
