Buddy was a sweet, purebred, cocker spaniel whose humans were geocachers WIpilots, from Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Buddy loved going geocaching, and as he aged it was a favorite activity. He couldn't do long walks anymore but loved a short walk to a cache. He cached with his humans in 11 states and went to two megas - Cache Bash in West Bend, Wisconsin, and BamaRama in Alabama. When Buddy was younger he loved walking the trails in Gulf State Park during the winter season, greeting everyone he met with a woof and a smile!
Buddy was 14 when he passed away on Christmas Eve, 2022. He is missed by many, but no more than by WIpilots.
This cache is a tribute to Buddy, who will always be greatly loved. WIpilots ask that dog-loving geocachers give their pups a hug in memory of Buddy when you find this cache! And they thank CuttySarks for the meaningful geocache in his memory.
