Welcome to the O'sakame Preserve, the Lenape word for "across the river". Take a moment to pause and absorb the breathtaking view of the great expanse before you, with the bluffs across the Pennsylvania side framing the horizon.
As you embark on your adventure, watch for the majestic bald eagles soaring across the sky and Peregrine Falcons, which have made a home nearby. The preserve is also frequented by Northern Harriers and Common Ravens, along with a chorus of migrant songbirds.
Trail Details: A scenic loop trail of approximately three-quarters of a mile has been hewn around the preserve's perimeter.
Cache Location: Your quest leads you to a set of small Juniper trees. Search its branches carefully, and you'll discover a camouflaged bison tube. Exercise stealth and caution to preserve the beauty of the preserve.
