Mr. Sanders House? (481) Returns Traditional Cache

The cache that you are searching for is located in County Park, in Shenandoah County, along Route 11 between Maurertown and Toms Brook.

Please search only during the parks hours of operation: Sunrise to Sunset.

If you see litter please cito as this is a very clean and beautiful park.

About the cache:
Once at GZ you will be able to spot the birdhouse that holds the log holder/swag box.
This site may be familar to some as this cache disappeared in May of 2022 and was archived.
A did not find log was logged on 5-17-2022 and on 5-22-2022 when I checked the entire house along with chain and locks was missing
On 12-31-23 a previous finder revisted this cache and informed me that Mr.Sanders house is in the exact same spot as it was when I first hid it. Pictures were included with the message and the log book was last signed on 4-3-2023. :O
The eye bolt on the roof of the house has been replaced and my locks are no longer there. So my guess is parks and rec found and replaced this cache since they have the exact cordinates and picture of where this cache is.

Please note that the birdhouse is locked with a combination lock. The combination is 481

Once the birdhouse is unlocked, open it and you will see Mr. Sander’s old house and a locked compartment that holds the log holder/swag box.

The combination to unlock the lock is the same as the number of holes in Mr. Sanders old houses roof that need patching.

The combination is three digits and you will start at the top of the lock shackle and go down.

If the number of holes were to be 22 the combination would be 022, if the number of holes is 233 you would enter 233.

No room for pen or pencil so bring your own.
