The area is renowned for its stunning beaches, particularly the "Tanjung Lipat or Likas Bay," a picturesque coastal stretch spanning approximately 7 kilometers from the city port to the Tun Mustapha Tower. Running alongside the bay is a coastal road that seamlessly connects various parts of the city, featuring a jogging and cycling track. An open-space eatery, locally known as "Anjung Selera," operates until late at night. The bay hosts an annual international dragon boat race.
The seaside trail offers breathtaking views of the beach and is a popular choice among locals for walking and cycling activities, especially during the mornings and evenings. The route boasts diverse flora and fauna, enhancing the overall experience.
The expansive field caters to a range of activities suitable for all ages, featuring a large playground for children, a dedicated cycling track for youths, and areas for kite flying, among other options. The park provides ample space for various activities, offering numerous picnic huts, plentiful parking lots, and well-maintained restrooms.
