Hudson Hot Air Affair is a spectator event with hot air balloons sponsored by area businesses. The event runs February 2-4, 2024. Hot air balloons from all over the country come to Hudson, Wisconsin and take flight over the beautiful St. Croix River. Balloon launches are scheduled Saturday morning and afternoon and also Sunday morning. (all weather permitting). Saturday evening there is a spectacular *moon glow* where the balloons are tethred but light up the entire field.
A Geocaching 101 display will be hosted by jacquendoncody on Saturday morning, February 3, 2024 from 9am to 10am at the E.P. Rock Elementary School cafeteria. Come meet local geocachers and newbie cachers and learn about the fun, family friendly adventure of Geocaching. Equipment will be shown and you will learn how to get coordinates and search for hidden treasures. There are plenty of geocaches in the Hudson and surrounding area to be found. Also new caches will be available that day!!. Come join us for a day (weekend) of geocaching fun.
