This is the LAND-based part of the two Lake Wilderness Circumnavigation caches. It will require walking two . mostly level miles and finding two physical Waypoints and two Virtual Waypoints.
The published coordinates are located near the Boat Ramp, which is the best place to park.
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. You are seeking the coordinates of WP5, which is Physical and contains the Final coordinates. WP5 is at N47 22.XYZ W 122 02.ABC
2. Visit WP1: Find the small. camoflaged container and obtain the coordinates for virtual Waypoints 2, 3, and 4.
3. Go to Waypoint 2 and answer the Question: How many vertical sides are on the large boulder at this location?
(If One (i.e., round), A is the 4 and Z is 9
(If Four (i.e., square), A is 3 and Z is 5
(If Five (i.e., pentagonal, A is 2 and Z is 3
4. Go to Waypoint 3 and answer this Question: How many large boulders surround this bench?
(If One, B is 6 and Y is 0
(If Four, B is 4 and Y is 4
(If Five, B is 2 and Y is 7
5. Go to Waypoint 4 and answer this Question: What is growing on the hillside above the dead end road?
(If small trees, C is 6 and X is 2
(If ivy, C is 9 and X is 1
(If alder trees, C is 2 and X is 3
6. Find Physical Waypoint 5 and retrieve coordinates for the Final
7. Find the Final and sign the Log!
