Geocache Description:

This cache is part of a mini series of micros that will each lead you to a different parking area located along the Canal Trail.

This is #3 and may prove to be the trickest of the trio as the elusive container is hidden a bit lower than the others were. Will not be as winter friendly as the rest. It's a very short walk from the parking area.

This parking area is located beside the Drydock in Lyons. Depending on the time of year, you'll be able to see some really neat things going on. This cache was placed during the winter and it's pretty cool to see boats like the Colonial Belle here for the cold season. I spent a summer as a Lock Operator for the Canal and had the pleasure of locking the historic Tug Syracuse through that season as my final lockage! I have many historic photos of the canal, local to this area - if anyone is interested, send me a message!

These are micros so you'll want to bring your own pen and please replace cache as found! Also, take note of what you find here as there is a bonus cache to this series (GCAHZV3)!. The cache itself has a name on it, you don't need to know the name - just what you have found. (IE: Is it a rock? A birdhouse? A pickle? A mammoth?)

Any questions, feel free to message me!

Happy Caching!
