Woodstock Traditional Cache

This geocache is in tribute to the best friend of a world famous dog. Woodstock was named by Charles Schulz after the 1969 music festival. He met Snoopy after his mother built a nest on Snoopy's dog house and he was born from two eggs that she laid. They quickly became friends. Woodstock's first job was as the World War I Flying Ace's mechanic and dhe later went on to become Snoopy's secretary and gold caddy. Woodstock is a good-natured loyal bird, but he is a poor flyer and prefers to hang out as Snoopy's dog house.
