Where: Gateway Park
Wondering where to eat after a long day of geocaching? Whether you spent the day “Discovering Yuma”, searching for specific caches to qualify for one of those obscure Challenge Caches, or just rolled into town for tomorrow’s Mega, now comes the most important question of the day.
Washington State Geocaching Association (WSGA) invites you to join us at Gateway Park in Old Town Yuma where you can meet up with friends, make some new ones, and then decide where you want to go for dinner. WSGA will have some free stuff to raffle, and you can learn about the WSGA 20th Anniversary GeoTour continuing until October 31st 2024. Seven (7) regions of 20 caches each for a total of 140 caches. After the event, you can choose between the many fun restaurants that are located just a short walk down Main Street, south of the park.
Located along the Colorado River, Yuma's Gateway Park offers swimming, fishing, beach activities, grills, outdoor showers, picnic tables, playground, ramadas. There is ample parking and restrooms available.
