In a dairy farm entrance way on State Highway one, just north of Ashburton, you'll spot some pretty cool hay bales! (Update: Unfortunately the bales are now gone. Fingers crossed the farmer might create some new ones).
Created for a bit of light heartedness for passing traffic, the hay bales were dressed as the Big Bad Wolf and the Three Little Pigs, but have previously taken the form of The Smurfs and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (check out the photos in the cache gallery).
Please cover again with a small bit of natural camo.
PLEASE watch for little ones near the busy road. This cache is best approached when driving north out of Ashburton.
