Nice and big cache out in the forest with plenty of room for trackables, geocoins, SWAG, etc. This cache is about a mile hike from Deadman Road along Fire Road 527 hence the name. You can also bike along Fire Road 527, although it can get a little bumpy at times so I would only reccomend it if you have a mountain bike. (Deadman is the only public road you can access the cache from!) I have given this cache the "Not Available in Winter" attribute as the only public entrance to the trail is on Deadman Rd which is closed during unfavorable weather conditions which is practically all of winter up in Red Feather. On Google Maps you may see that Deadman Rd is closed between December and July. However, it usually tends to close in mid to late November and open in late May to early June. If you live/own/are a guest in Crystal Lakes, which is private property, you can access this cache year-round, although I can't guarantee it won't be freezing.
WARNING: The only public road you can get to this cache from is Deadman Road which is CLOSED during unfavorable weather conditions. You CANNOT access this cache from Chiricahua Cir as it is part of Crystal Lakes which is PRIVATE PROPERTY.
