Geocache Description:

PVC Scottsdale Stadium - PROVISIONAL

CACHE NICKNAME:  Hole-In-One!

THE PVC COURSE PLANS $4.6M EXPANSION!    Due to all of the Favorites and the overwhelming volume of positive log comments, The PVC Scottsdale Course will be undergoing major renovations.  In what is believed to be the largest budget ever for a geocache upgrade, this $4.6M project will include the addition of a dog park and a pedestrian bridge that leads from the 7th hole to the 8th hole.  Although it is not yet known how much of the budget will be allocated to the actual geocaches, it is hoped to be significant.

Construction is scheduled to begin in July 2024.  Full project details of The PVC Scottsdale enhancements can be found at:   The PVC Scottsdale Expansion.

During construction, play on the 8th cache will be disrupted.  This provisional hole is being added to ensure that a full 18 hole course can remain open during construction.  In the meantime, it is recommended that this PROVISIONAL hole be played as a bonus hole between #7 and #8.

PROVISIONAL TIPS:

  1. Cache is not visible until you move/open something
  2. Once found, LIFT the cache until you get to the red line (stealth required)
  3. INSERT the provided pin at the red line
  4. Pull from the bottom.
  5. (see the HINT)

SERIES OVERVIEW:
Similar to Scottsdale's TPC golf course, this PVC course is a series of holes/caches that is great to be played all together, in sequence.  The primary component used for all 9 caches is PVC.  It is 2 miles to complete all 9 in sequence and return to the starting point.

All of the cache containers are easy to spot, typically from 10' away without moving anything unless otherwise noted.  Each is a unique 'puzzle' that may take a minute to figure out in order to access the log.  Spotting the cache container is NOT a find; signing the log is what completes the find for any cache.  The hint is generally a giveaway on how to get the log.

If you have any suggestions on how to improve a cache, or ideas for new ones, please send them my way.  And if you enjoy a cache, please consider giving it a FAVORITE so that others will come to enjoy.

Thanks and have fun!
