Let's return to beautiful Lincoln Park for more Needful Things!
This is a Letterbox Hybrid cache, so the container is NOT located at the posted coordinates.
Your GPS will have brought you to the posted coordinates for the "start here" second waypoint. From here, follow these directions to find the letterbox:
1) head west/southwest along a main trail approximately 65-70 steps
2) stop at the 3rd trail leading north into the woods (note: the 2nd trail is getting overgrown)
3) if you are turning at the correct trail there will be a large tree growing right in the middle of the trail entrance
4) head north, crossing over 3 logs which have completely fallen across the trail
5) about 20 feet ahead of you and at 2:00 o'clock on a watch face, stands a large "two-fer." Due to recent wind storms, you may need to "mini-bushwhack"
6) reach way down inside
Inside you will find a log book with a NT/AO stamp. You may either sign the log book as usual or mark the log book with your own stamp. If letterboxing, please bring your own stamp pad.
Also inside the container is an unactivated geocoin for the FTF (congratulations, Clever_Cachers!) and an unactivated trackable for the STF.
Lincoln Park is open from 4:00 am to 11:30 pm.
Happy Caching!
(This letterbox hybrid cache is part of the West Seattle “Needful Things” series. These cache titles are constructed to help geocachers who are fans of the now-grandfathered word challenges, and to provide any cacher who is working on a streak, or who maybe isn't ready to go home yet, just one more find. Refer to the linked Needful Things bookmark list for other useful titles in the series and to see what challenge types these words meet.)
