A Trabant egy ikonikus autó, mely a kelet-németországi autóipar egyik legismertebb terméke volt az 1950-es évek végétől. Egyszerűsége és megbízhatósága miatt a "papírjaguár" nem csupán egy jármű volt, hanem egy egész korszak szimbóluma lett. A gyenge motorteljesítménye és a nagyon alap konstrukciós megoldások ellenére a Trabant mégis sokak szívébe utat talált, és ma is nosztalgikus emlékeket idéz elő az emberekben. A trabis életérzésről még dal is született, ráadásul tartozik hozzá egy babona is: Ha zöld trabantot látsz, szerencséd lesz, és kívánhatsz valamit! :)
A geoláda közelében elég nagy a forgalom, légy óvatos, és hozz saját tollat! A közvetlen közelben található a Westend pláza, így egy kaja, mozi vagy ügyintézés közben is könnyen kiugorhatsz megkeresni a ládát. :)

The Trabant was an iconic car, one of the most well-known products of the East German automotive industry from the late 1950s. Its simplicity and reliability made the 'paper jaguar' not just a vehicle but a symbol of an entire era. Despite its low engine performance and extremely basic construction, the Trabant found its way into the hearts of many and continues to evoke nostalgic memories for people. There's even a song about the 'trabi' vibe. Moreover, there's a superstition attached to it: If you see a green Trabant, you'll have good luck and can make a wish! :)
Near the geocache, there's quite a bit of traffic, so be cautious, and bring your own pen! Westend Plaza is nearby, making it easy to stop by for a meal, movie, or errands while searching for the cache. :)
