Leap Year Lunch Event Cache

This is your opportunity to gather with friends and get a smiley on that elusive Feb 29 Date.

WHAT:  Leap Year Lunch
WHEN: Thursday February 29
TIME: 11:30 am to 12:30 p.m.
WHERE:  Happy Joe's Pizza and Ice Cream.
9919 W US-20, Galena, IL

I gave the event a 1 hour window. You don't need to stay long to log attending.  I reserved the room from 11 am until 1 pm. I plan to be there during that time. Anyone that shows up during that time can log attending. I plan to have some door prizes to hand out at 12:30.

Food is available. Each cacher is responsible for their own meals. You are not required to eat. They specialize in pizza, sandwiches and baked pasta.  There is also a buffet on Thursday.

Please make a "will attend" log so we can get a head count for the restaurant. After attending make sure you log an "attended log" to get your smiley for this special day.
(I will have another Leap Year Event in 4 years in case you miss this one.)

Again everyone is welcome to come and visit with other cachers of the area and put some faces to names we see in the logs.

If the weather cooperates come early or stay late and hunt some of the Galena caches. Most Galena caches are Winter Friendly.

I hope to place a couple new ones but Galena is running out of space. There are around 200 active Galena caches including Adventure Labs.

There will be a Log In table at the entrance to the banquet Room.
