"Other" size containers are unusual shapes. They usually aren't bottles or boxes. Don't count on them to have enough space to hold a travel bug. Sometimes they are just a bison tube (remember when you didn't know what that was?) hidden in an unusual "host" object.
This "other" container is wooden and hidden beside a small tree. It is just slightly below trail level. It is not off the side of the trail in either direction. That would be private property. When you find it, there is something extra to help keep the inner container in place.
