Cache Description: Welcome to "The Cacher's Conundrum"! This puzzle cache is designed to test your geocaching knowledge and skills. Solve the puzzles, each rooted in geocaching lore and practice, to find the coordinates of the cache.

1: The History Hunt

Puzzle: Answer questions about the history of geocaching.

  1. Sum of all digits of the coordinates of the first ever geocache placed?
  2. On witch month was the great blue switch?
  3. Jeremy Irish, Elias Alvord, and Bryan Roth founded the company Groundspeak Inc. (dba Geocaching HQ) to support the game of geocaching. Initial revenue came from sales Geocaching t-shirts. How many t-shirts were sold?

Stage 2: The Cache Types Challenge

  1. Puzzle: Identify pictures or descriptions of different types of geocaches (e.g., traditional, multi-cache, mystery/puzzle, etc.). Each type is assigned a numerical value.

Stage 4: The Geocaching Lingo Quiz

  1. Puzzle: Find the wordvalue of common geocaching terms (e.g., Muggle, TFTC, DNF).
