This geocache requires a steep 6 mile trail hike that offers some amazing views! The cache is a tan toolbox and easy to find, it's nestled between two bolders near the specatcular Tunkhannock view. On your hike up, be sure to enjoy the views from the pipline swath, and also be sure to check out the incredible view at the old cabin. Please do not enter the old cabin and obey the restricted access signs, this is a dangerous structure (if the cabin is still standing). After you discover the cache, you can either go back the way you came or if you wish to make a loop you can follow an obvious old grade down the mountain from the Tunkhannock view. This rout may be a bit more difficlut, avoid any paths from the left or right. Just follow this grade straight-ish down the mountain. It is the most established, and at times rutted, route. When you reach a meadow, you can walk up the creek a short ways to see some very small waterfalls. Continue down, walk around the blue gate then turn left onto Jurista Road and walk back to your car. (A map of this route was published by the Endless Mountains Wordpress).
