Booragul is Aboriginal for "Summer" or "Warm place".

This area is adjacent to the Booragul Foreshore Reserve and has a large amount of windy paths that take you through the bush and along the mangroves. It is a great spot for walking, relaxing, riding your pushie or letting your geohound off lead to have a run. I am often here doing all those things "except riding a pushie" so thought that this would be a perfect spot for a cache. If you have time, take a wander through the nearby Lake Macquarie Sculpture Park and Art Gallery. 

I would highly recommend you slap on the Bushmans Repellent here, I was almost picked up and taken away whilst placing this cache.
