Once Upon a time or this is the area of the first geocaches in Stark County, Ohio! On March 14th of 2002 The Wilderness Center, Inc. placed two caches in the park. One was named the Wilderness Center Tower (GC4207) and the other was named Wilderness Center Spring (GC4208). In 2009 both caches were archived and the beginning of many geocaches of the TWC Geocache Club.
Maybe one day there will be a plaque to remember...

This cache was placed in coordination with The Wilderness Center’s annual Winter Geocaching event Six More Weeks of Winter – 2024.
Parking is available at the Interpretive Building. If you plan on being on the trails after hours, please park in the lower parking lot. The trails are open from dawn to dusk. Dogs are allowed on this trail. BTW: Trails tend to get Muddy…
