We have been invited along to a Community Litter Pick on Saturday 16th March 2024, starting at 14:00.
We will meet outside the Valley Park Community Centre, at the headline coordinates, where the local organiser will be on hand to provide a list of what to do, and not to do, suggest areas to head to and provide any equipment needed, which you will be asked to sign for. We will provide a logbook, should you wish to sign, and a tin for trackable swapping.
When you get back, light refreshments will be provided.
For anybody arriving a little late, one of the organisers will be on hand to help you.
The event will run in most weathers, including light to moderate rain. If lightning is forecast, then the official event will be cancelled but we will be on hand for an impromptu litter pick of our own.
The area consists of paved paths with grass verges and some undergrowth (brambles) and more wooded areas, so please come dressed appropriately. If you have your own litter pickers, then feel free to use them.
