This is a Bonus Cache. The cache is not at the posted co-ordinates. In order to locate the physical cache you must first complete the "Hethersett - A Village Inspired" Adventure Lab to obtain the final co-ordinates.
Hethersett Run the Square was a two mile fun run on closed roads around the village. The first running of the event took place on 25 July 2010 and was along an oblong route. The event went along Queen's Road and Great Melton Road before turning left into Mill Road and then left again into New Road and back along Old Norwich Road past the King's Head and Queen's Head and back to the finish at the Junior School close to the virtual location of the cache. The event which annually had between 250-500 competitors took place for 9 years until COVID took hold. Each finisher received a commemorative medal, examples of which are displayed in the village Library close to the first co-ordinates.
Duncan Pigg B.E.M. who presented medals at the finish for many years came up with the original suggestion to recreate an old village tradition from many decades ago, before cars were a regular feature on our roads. To find the physical cache co-ordinates, you must first complete the "Hethersett - A Village Inspired" Adventure Lab where each correct answer to the 5 stages will reveal numbers and letters to enable you to find the small sized cache.
