Deze geocache werd geplaatst in het provinciaal domein Ijzerboomgaard te Diksmuide, thuishaven van Johnny.
De realisatie kwam tot stand na de vraag van het getroffen gezin of er 'iets' kon gedaan worden met de TB's en Geocoins van Johnny. Omdat Johnny op alle gebieden een topkerel was, was een 'gewoon potje' niet op zijn plaats. We probeerden er dus iets unieks van te maken, en dit op de mooie locatie die Johnny ons, vóór zijn tragische ongeval, leerde kennen.
Vanaf de parking wandelt u richting de zelfpluktuin van 't Land Van Vlierbos. Deze wandeling is 600 m lang (enkel). Als alternatief voor de heen- of terugwandeling is er nog onze Adventure Lab Cache 'Ijzerboomgaard'. Bij deze keuze maakt u een wandeling van 1,5 km.

This geocache was placed in the provincial domain Ijzerboomgaard in Diksmuide, home of Johnny.
The realisation came after the affected family asked if 'something' could be done with Johnny's TBs and Geocoins. As Johnny was a top-notch guy in all areas, an 'ordinary jar' was out of place. So we tried to make it something unique, and this in the beautiful location that Johnny taught us, before his tragic accident.
From the car park, walk towards the self-picking garden of 't Land Van Vlierbos. This walk is 600 m long (single). As an alternative to the outward or return walk, there is our Adventure Lab Cache 'Ijzerboomgaard'. With this option, you will take a 1,5 km walk.
