A Thursday morning event for Leap Day
Another in my occasional series of morning get-togethers, which aim to be within a few miles of the River Erewash, the border between Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. All geocachers are welcome, for an hour of chat, the sharing of ideas or puzzle-hints, the exchange of trackables, and anything to do with our hobby.
But there is a slight difference with this one, as it is February 29th - the first time I've ever managed to hold an event on Leap Day.
A return visit this time to the Cat and Fiddle Windmill at Dale Abbey, which only opened as a cafe in 2022. A range of options are offered for those who want to eat, but as always you are under no obligation.
There is a STRICT ONE WAY system in operation. You MUST enter the site from Cat and Fiddle Lane, not from the A6096. There is loads of parking.
