The Presidential Palace of Tetouan, Morocco
Welcome to the Presidential Palace of Tetouan, one of Morocco's most fascinating landmarks!
This majestic building is located in the heart of Tetouan, a city known for its rich history and stunning architecture. The palace is situated near the historic medina of Tétouan, which is surrounded by a wall approximately 5 km in length and accessed through seven gates, each with its own historical significance.
The Presidential Palace was built in the early 20th century during the Spanish Protectorate period. It combines Spanish and Moroccan architectural styles, creating a unique and elegant design. Its bright white walls and detailed carvings make it a very impressive sight.
The palace is still used for official events and as a residence for visiting dignitaries, so you can’t go inside. However, the view from the outside is just as breathtaking. You’ll notice the grand entrance gate makes it look like something out of a fairy tale.
Take a moment to admire the palace, a symbol of Morocco's blend of traditions and modern influences.
